Ingredients

- 1/2 lb ground pork tenderloin
- 8 medium shrimp, chopped
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1-2 teaspoon chopped ginger root
- 1 teaspoon lite soy sauce
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Preparation

- In bowl, combine ground chicken, green onions, ginger root, cornstarch, soy sauce; mix until well blended.
- Place 1 teaspoon filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold top corner of wonton wrapper over filling and press firmly to seal.
- Moisten edges with water. Fold each wrapper in half to form triangle; press edges to seal. Arrange in steamer basket. Cover and steam over boiling water for 3 minutes.
- Set wontons aside on the plate and continue with remaining wontons
- place broth in a large pot and bring to boil. Add wontons two or three at a time and cook until they float, about 2 or 3 minutes
- Add green onion and and Season to taste with salt and pepper to serve.
