Shenyang Jianzhu University (the former Shenyang Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute) was established in 1948. The university has 14 subordinate institutions with 1,560 faculty and staff members including 400 professors and associated professors. Current enrollment consists of nearly 17,000 degree candidates, including undergraduates, graduates, foreign students, and students in extension and professional schools.
