The East China University of Politics and Law (ECUPL) used to be the higher learning institutions of the Ministry of Justice. It is now a university jointly administered by the central and Shanghai governments. ECUPL has 575 employees including 128 professors or associate professors. The University currently has a total student population of nearly 10,000 including students of undergraduate, graduate and adult programs.
